BOLSOVER BILL WINS FOR THE 4TH TIME OVER FENCES!

Bolsover Bill got back to winning ways today at Plumpton Racecourse under a super- confident ride from our Conditional Jockey Dylan Kitts (7).  Dylan and Bill have forged a really good and consistent partnership, and this is their 3rd win together, having been placed on all other occasions. This is also Bolsover Bill’s 4th Win over Fences, which is a spectacular achievement, having only switched to the bigger obstacles this season.

Bolsover Bill travelled strongly throughout the race and jumped for fun, he met a strong challenge 3 fences from home and was briefly headed by Chris Gordon’s runner Who Is That, but Dylan kept his cool and always seemed confident he had a little bit more left in the tank, soon getting the lead back again and staying on strongly to win by 5 lengths.

Well done to Bolsover Bill’s Owners Jim and Claire Bryce, and of course to all the team at home who have worked so hard in horrible weather conditions over the last week, the hard work has paid off!!!

SNOW DAY!

The Great British weather really is giving us something to think about at the moment, and last Wednesday was no exception!

We woke up in Upper Lambourn to around 3 inches of Snow, and it didn’t stop coming down all day! Thanks to my brilliant team, we were able to clear the yard of snow and get all the horses exercised on the Gallops,  which in turn was thanks to the brilliant Lambourn Jockey Club Estates Gallops Staff, who worked tirelessly to clear the gallops of snow and make sure the surfaces were ride able and safe.
