A VERY WET WEEK
The wet weather has been relentless so far this season, and it finally took its tole last week with the loss of multiple jump meetings, resulting in a much quieter week than planned as regards to runners.
The horses are in fantastic form at home, and it has been slightly frustrating missing good opportunities for some of them on the racecourse, but there isn’t much we can do about the weather, and those who have been able to run have run really pleasingly!
Keep Running was just beaten at Ludlow on only his second start over fences having tipped up the time before, so seeing him get round and go so close this time was great!
Village Master showed great grit and determination in very tiring conditions at Chepstow on his first start for us and over Hurdles, there is lots to look forward to with him!
Theyseekhimthere didn’t relish the conditions at Chepstow, but it is all good experience for him and no doubt he will be back to winning ways soon!
Land Of Moon also made an eye-catching start to his career today on racecourse debut at Lingfield in the Open NH Flat Race, where he made up a lot of ground in the closing stages and was only beaten by a 1.5 lengths.
We have a really busy day tomorrow, with 4 runners at Ffos Las and 1 at Fontwell, good luck to all connections, fingers crossed the weather is kind to us and we can see these horses on track!
