YANKEE DUDE BACKS UP HIS PROMISE WITH ANOTHER WIN!

YANKEE DUDE cemented his promise by WINNING his second race, this time under a penalty at Kempton. The Unibet Novice Stakes over 7 furlongs contained some well bred individuals from high-powered yards, and we knew this would be a real test and a chance to see what type of colt we had on our hands.

Ridden again by Eddy Greatrex, Yankee Dude travelled very comfortably throughout the race and was poised to make his challenge 2 furlongs from home. When the track opened up at the cutaway, Eddy asked for more and Yankee Dude immediately responded, was in front 1 furlong from home and then kept on strongly, coming home in front a length and three-quarters ahead of the rest! A performance like that under a penalty is really exciting for Warren, Jim and Claire, Eddy and the whole team at home. 

Yankee Dude will now have a well earned- break, a chance to mature and grow stronger and will be back in the Spring for his 3-year-old campaign, which at this stage, looks like it could be very exciting!
