VILLAGE MASTER RETURNS TO WINNING WAYS

VILLAGE MASTER bounced back to his winning ways last Friday at Fontwell where he put in a brilliant round of jumping under Harry Bannister and stayed on really strongly to WIN the All In or All Out Handicap Chase over 3m 2f.

I’m sure many of you remember Village Master’s 5 consecutive wins in late spring last year, and some of you may have been slightly underwhelmed by his performances since his summer break. These performances were nailed down to being a wind issue which once rectified in December, have allowed him to bounce back to his best, with an exciting spring and summer campaign to now look forward to.

Congratulations to owners Jill and Robin Eynon and Jim and Claire Bryce who have been very understanding of Village Master’s situation, and have given him all the time he needed to recover and get his confidence back. Patience is a virtue and they can now reap their rewards!
